Offshore Pursuit

Bahamas Deep Sea Fishing Charters from Harbour Island.

Private offshore charters targeting mahi-mahi, tuna, wahoo, sailfish, and marlin in the blue water off Harbour Island and Eleuthera.

The Trip

Built for serious anglers and first-time bluewater guests alike.

Salty Adventures runs private Bahamas deep sea fishing charters out of Valentine's Marina in Harbour Island. Captain Tré Sands grew up on these reefs and ledges — within 30 minutes of the dock you can be trolling 600+ ft of blue water for mahi, tuna, and wahoo, or working the edge for sailfish and marlin.

Every charter is fully private. We rig the boat for your group, choose the run based on the morning's conditions, and keep the day moving — switch from trolling to jigging, work a weed line, or stop for a snorkel and lunch on the way home. Premium tackle, live bait, ice, drinks, and snacks are all included.

FAQ

Deep sea fishing, answered.

What species can we target on a Bahamas deep sea fishing trip?+

Mahi-mahi, yellowfin and blackfin tuna, wahoo, sailfish, marlin, and king mackerel — the exact mix depends on the season. We monitor conditions daily and put you on the most productive bite.

Where do you depart from for deep sea fishing?+

All trips depart from Valentine's Marina in Harbour Island. We can also arrange pickups from Spanish Wells and other Eleuthera locations on request.

Half day or full day — which is better for offshore fishing?+

Full days give you the best shot at trophy pelagics because we can run to the deeper blue-water edges. Half days are ideal if you want offshore action without committing the entire day.

Do you provide rods, bait, and tackle?+

Yes — premium rods, reels, live bait, lures, ice, drinks, and snorkel gear are all included. Just bring sunscreen, a hat, and your camera.

What's the best time of year for deep sea fishing in the Bahamas?+

Mahi and tuna run strong from March through August. Wahoo peaks November through February. Sailfish and marlin show year-round with a winter peak. There's a target species in every season.
